The INVINCIBLE (Level 3) 200-4R
Our INVINCIBLE series features all the components of our Level 2 (Pro Race) transmissions with additional performance parts for added Strength and Durability. (Nothing but the best):
First, each core transmission is disassembled and carefully inspected. The case and hard parts are cleaned thoroughly and re-inspected for cracks, wear, or other damage before we begin. The case is specially prepared, and a coating of and heavy duty, heat resistant, oil based enamel is baked on, creating a hard and durable glossy finish. The seals in the case are then replaced and assembly begins.
This transmission is suitable for applications to 900+ HP, and bolts to the Chevrolet, Buick, Pontiac and Cadillac (or BOP pattern engines).

High Performance rebuild kit with additional frictions. Where possible, we install Alto, Raybestos and Allomatic performance frictions. We give special attention to the direct 3rd clutch.
A hardened sun shell is installed, eliminating the weak area of the transmission. We also replace the factory plastic thrust washer with a brass washer, eliminating melt down and breakage issues with this washer.
A wide red lining band, with reinforced band pin area is mated to a resurfaced drum for max hold.
A Superior Super Servo is used to assure adequate apply, and special modifications are done during installation to reduce the downshift clunk associated with these large servos. Between the wide band above and the Super Servo holding is increased up to 50 percent over stock in second gear.
A high performance pump with enlarged drain back, hardened pump rings, fixed position pump slide (for max high rpm pressure), a .500 boost valve, and full time lube modification to the pressure regulator valve is used.
We use heavy duty front and rear sprags (one-way roller clutch assemblies) to make sure this unit will take the torque.

.E4340 STEEL BILLET OVERDRIVE RING GEAR #24RCC/BRG
This custom ring gear assembly eliminates spline and fatigue failure common with 200-4R transmissions installed behind engines producing over 400 foot pounds of torque. The factory flange and broach is removed and replaced with a CNC machined E4340 steel billet flange. This is the best ring gear available. Period!
E4340 STEEL BILLET SHAFT FORWARD DRUM #24RCC/BFD
This drum is a must for high powered vehicles using the GM 200-4R transmission. This custom drum assembly eliminates shaft breakage common with the 200-4R transmission installed behind engines producing over 300 foot pounds of torque. The stock shaft is removed from the clutch drum on a CNC mill. A second milling operation machines the drum to accept the new shaft. The replacement E4340 steel billet shaft is the product of an 8 step CNC turning, drilling, and splining process. The shaft is then heat treated and welded into the drum. This item has been tested in vehicles producing over 800 foot pounds of torque with absolutely no signs of distress. This item is always in stock. Guaranteed!
E4340 STEEL BILLET INPUT SHAFT #24RCC/BIS
This custom shaft eliminates shaft breakage common with any 200-4R installed behind engines producing over 400 foot pounds of torque. This shaft is CNC machined and features revised oil circuitry to improve strength.
E4340 STEEL BILLET OVERDRIVE CARRIER
This custom carrier assembly eliminates spline and fatigue failures common with any 200-4R transmission installed behind engines producing over 400 foot pounds of torque. The factory splines are removed and replaced with a CNC machined E4340 steel billet flange. Our carrier is fully rebuildable, unlike our competitors.
STEEL DEEP PAN AND W/ BOTTOM REAR PICKUP
CUSTOM STREET/STRIP VALVE BODY, GOVERNOR AND SERVO PACKAGE
This special package includes everything you need to transform the GM 200-4R transmissions hydraulic system for high performance street and strip use. This easy to install package was engineered to be a cost-effective direct bolt-in for all transplants and most high performance buildups. A carefully selected valve body core is remanufactured and assembled with the following components:
– Re-engineered springs for the accumulator valve
– line bias
– 1/2 accumulator
– 3/4 accumulator
– updated 3/4 accumulator piston
– a throttle sensitive accumulator and pressure rise system
– new AC/DELCO separator plate, properly orificed
– remanufactured governor
– new .500″ TV boost valve
– .296″ intermediate boost valves
– heavy duty pressure regulator spring
These modifications meet the demands of high output engines. This reduces friction element failure and excessive heat build up during and after ratio changes. It also allows the shifts to get shorter and firmer as the throttle is opened. This combination results in clean, positive gear changes at small throttle angles and short firm shifts with larger throttle angles. The AC/DELCO separator plate increases the flow of oil to the friction elements. The remanufactured governor is assembled with a combination of weights and springs to provide wide-open throttle up-shifts between 4800 and 5000 rpms. The valve body can also be shifted manually and will hold 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gears to any rpm. The .500″ TV boost valve, and .296″ intermediate boost valves and heavy duty pressure regulator spring significantly raise transmission mainline pressure to increase clutch and band apply pressures.
We modified TCC apply to provide stronger engagement of the lockup clutch, and to enhance the increased durability of the higher (3000 rpm up) stall torque converters if used. This modification also improves the life of any stall converter from stock to performance.
These transmissions have a PerformaBuilt performance shift kit installed, and will have very positive shifts, which become progressively more aggressive as throttle is increased. No accumulators are blocked causing unnecessary strain in normal driving, but it still delivers that kick-ass feel under throttle.
